Sewing Fundamentals is a beginner-friendly course designed to give you the confidence and skills to start sewing on your own. Whether you've never touched a machine or just need a solid foundation, this class is for you.

Over the course of our sessions, you'll learn:

• How to set up and thread a sewing machine

• Reading and cutting from a pattern

• Straight seams, curves, and corners

• Pressing and finishing techniques

• Basic hand stitching

• Completing simple beginner projects

What you'll need:

Grab one yard of your favorite fabric and one yard of a matching or contrasting color fabric by session 2. I will take fabrics and pre-cut for our sessions 3 & 4 project.

Bringing your own sewing machine is encouraged — you'll get the most out of learning on what you'll use at home. If you don't have one, up to 8 machines are available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.
